Omelette

Quick, simple and super yummy, if you’re looking for a meal that is packed with flavour and protein, look no further!

SERVES 1

Ingredients:

  • medium eggs
  • 50ml milk
  • A small knob of butter (optional)
  • Salt and pepper (optional)
  • Extra options e.g.: 30 g cheddar cheese, sausages, herbs, etc.

Method:

  1. Heat a frying pan on a medium-high heat, crack the eggs into a bowl, whisk together with the milk, salt and pepper.
  2. Pour half of the mixture into the pan, keeping the rest for the second omelette.
  3. When the edges appear to be firm, while the top still contains some raw egg, add the extras (sausage, cheese, etc.) to one half of the omelette, then place the spatula under the other half and fold it over on top of the toppings.
  4. When the bottom is nice and brown, flip it over to brown the other side.
  5. Sprinkle with some herbs and enjoy!

If adding meat into the omelette, precook the meat first and cut it into bite-sized pieces!
